CERT Info Session

Looking for a way to get more involved in your community? Want to help others during emergencies? Excited to learn new skills? Join the York County Community Emergency Response Team! CERT functions to prepare our community for disasters, respond to incidents, and assist with recovery. The team is trained to help others following emergencies until professional responders arrive and to assist the efforts of responders by providing basic first aid and assisting with tasks such as traffic control and emergency communications. CERT volunteers also organize and participate in preparedness education and outreach initiatives, such as training, tabling events, and more! Not sure if you're qualified? We provide all the training you need! Leaders from York County Emergency Management Agency will join us on April 16th at 6:30pm  to talk more about the team, how to get involved, and answer any questions you may have!
